23andme please HELP!!!
Hi. An associate of mine has asked me to help her with creating reports and building a tree etc using her 23andme DNA info. She is mostly interested in the medical info and medical research info (she wants to share her dna with any dna med site she can in order to assist with research projects) I volunteered to help her with that and to help her build a tree and gather her family history info.
She is 75 yrs old, just had heart surgery and is home recovering. I’m trying to do this without her having to do too much as in logging in and setting things up or whatever, and I don’t want her to think I’m a complete moron but I haven’t a clue how to access her dna or account... she just had heart surgery the other day and is at home recovering. She has already ordered her kit and gotten her results back or her results email or whatever it is that people get with 23andme. She said she created an account with 23andme, She emailed me a link that just goes to the 23andme log in page. She also gave me the email address and pw that she said she used... 23andme keeps telling me I’m entering the wrong email or pw, she insists it’s correct.
I even created a 23andme account in my name hoping there’d be instructions or a tab to click for sharing or something but I haven’t been successful in any part of accessing her info. Do you know how this is usually done? It’s so much easier w ancestry ugh. I’ve never used 23andme for anything before. I’m hoping maybe someone here would be able to point me in the right direction? Thank you all very much!

You will have to sign-in to her account. Then on the tool bar at the top of the screen is a "Research" selection, clicking on it will open the Genetic Research screen. She will need to give consent to use her information and then there are MANY health questions to answer. You will have to be with her to answer them. Hope this helps.

First thing is to resolve the password. there must be a reset password option.
though it will probably require access to her email account.
