KERBY, KIRBY, Jesse born 24 March 1798 in Burke, North Carolina, United States. He married Rachel Redmond MOORE, daughter of John Parker MOORE and Charlotte Mildred REDMOND in either 1821 or 1824 possibly in Marion, Haywood, North Carolina. I am looking for verification of their marriage date and location.

@Ami Bartholomew Too early to find an actual marriage record unless it was recorded in a church that kept and preserved their registers. It you know for a fact that they did marry, I would find where Rachel's parents were in 1820. Rachel would have been 17-20 years old and probably still living with her parents. Also, look for tax records for Jesse to pinpoint his location in those years. He would have been over 21, old enough to be taxed whether or not he owned property.
