Bonjour
Cordialement J-Luc

Hello everybody
I am not sure I make a comment on the right post.
I would like to join a person or a group that does research on the citizens of Scuol Grison where my ancestors come from, i.e. the family Roner.😊
Nott Roner, Jonn Nott Roner, alias Nicolaus Roner, father Johann Niko Roner.

Let me state first: I am not an administrator, just a user like you. With that background my comment would be "there is no right place here for your request". Reason: The "community" is not really a discussion forum, i.e. a platform where you discuss a given family with others interested in this family. The "community" is more a "transcription / translation help desk". So - what can you do?
1) If you have a reading problem with one or a few documents: start a new discussion here, usually for a single document. If the document can be accessed freely online, post the link. Otherwise post an image of the document … which is right now a bit complicated as direct upload of files is not possible at the moment. Read How to upload images if interested in this option.
2) If you want to have discussions on Roner of Scuol (in general) you have to find a suitable platform for such discussions. There may be several options - the one I am familiar with is Geneal-Forum. There is already a topic Roner von Scuol GR. There is only a single post yet (with a few links) and this post is in German. The forum is multilingual, however, so posts in English are fine as well: describe what you already know in detail, i.e. with dates (no data on persons possibly still alive!) and where you need help. Reading is free - but to be able to post you have to be registered (which is free and without obligation). There is no guarantee, of course, that members there will be able to help - but it is worth a try 😉.
