If I'm reading the scribble correctly ("közember a rendes hadseregnél"), he's a private (common soldier) with the regular army.
Hungary kinda-sorta had two armed forces after 1867: the Honvédség (hon "home", véd "protect"), which I guess could be called the territorial army, and whatever combined force the dual monarchy had, which is my guess for what was meant by "regular army" here. But I could be wrong.
