Estratti di stato civile from Milano

Hi,

I have requested a Estratto di Nascita from the Milano Comune back in October. I've sent them the copy I obtained from familysearch and the location details of the record but I am still waiting for them to send it to me. I've sent a couple of requests for update and always got something like requests are processed first in first out, once it is ready it will be sent... Anyone in here have a recent experience requesting records from Milano that can give me an idea of how long it may take for them to send it?

The state archives will have a copy of the record as well. If you're experiencing a long delay, consider contacting them and explaining the situation. They can put pressure on the comune to emit the certificate.
