Help with New Jersey Research
@robertedwardwitkowski1 asked this question from another group. Please refer to him when answering his question.
From the search drop down I clicked on Research Wiki and went to New Jersey. I then clicked on the "Ask the FamilySearch Community" button and it took me to your platform: New England Research, which lists the states you specialize in ( does not include New York or New Jersey ). It did not give any other option to chose New Jersey, just your New England Research group. On the 1950 census I discovered for the first time one of my father's 3 brothers (Edward Frank Witkowski) did have a child. Michael V Witkowski (GJZJ-3JZ) was born in New York in 1943 and was living with his parents in Belleville, New Jersey, per the 1950 Census. On a telephone directory listing he is a student in Belleville, living with his parents. Can you tell me is there a New Jersey Research group that can help me find more information about him?

@robertedwardwitkowski1 Great question! New Jersey is included in the Atlantic States Research Group
I have corrected the Communities link on the Wiki page to go to Atlantic States Research that includes New Jersey.
Thank you so much for the heads up :)

@robertedwardwitkowski1 have you looked at the Research Resources to see if there is anything that can help you? We have a link at the top of the group that will take you into the Wiki on New Jersey and in the Research Resource links in the announcements you will find more information on New Jersey. I hope this helps you. Please reach out if there is more we can do to assist you.
Kind Regards,
Shannon
