Any Italian Cao family members out there?
I am looking for the parents for Nicolo Cao b. 1820 Venice, Venezia, Veneto Italy. He died in 1844 in Italy, I would imagine. He married Adrianna Zuliani in about 1834 Italy. His children were Frederico Cao b. 1836 Venezia and Angelo Cao b. 1842 Venezia, died in 1888 Liverpool England. Any help is very appreciated. Bonnie

So he was married at age 14 and had kids at age 16? That's incredibly young for a male, even in early 19th century Italy.
If he was indeed born in Venice, you can look in Antenati to see if there are any records of older siblings born between 1806 and 1815: https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/archive/?archivio=260
Unfortunately, between 1816 and 1871 your only source is church records, most of which are not online, and even then you would need to know the specific parish where he was born or died.

Here is the 1815 birth index for Venezia (city of Venice). Unfortunately it's only partially in alphabetical order - it's ordered by the first letter of the surname, then by date of birth.
