Hello, I had a wonderful New Year surprise...Family Search added my Scottish lineage from Olafrsson Macuswell (1011-1064) to John Maxwell (1806) who married to Jane Alexander in 1825, in Lanark, Lanark, Scotland. My extensive Scottish tree is awesome! Thank you!

I'm sharing this because I tested with FamilyTree DNA which shows my heritage is Scottish, Irish and Welsh. Some of my DNA comes from my paternal great, great grandmother Ellen Maxwell (1843-1886) daughter of John and Jane. Awhile ago, I attempted to join FamilyTree DNA Scottish group but never got a response. I'm wondering if there is any other group/researcher who might be interested in my results?

Hi Kris,

There is a group called  GENETIC GENEALOGY RESEARCH . There might be someone in that group that might be able to link with your DNA. This group is mainly for research, but I would keep coming back as you never know what might popup that might be interested.
