Search Records: Selecting sites outside of FamilySearch
When I want to check information on another site, for example Ancestry or MyHeritage, I always get the message:
"You are leaving FamilySearch to visit one of our partner sites. We have a relationship with this partner. If you link your account, you will get free access to many of their services. To learn more, visit our FamilySearch partner access page at https://familysearch.org/partneraccess"
In the old version, this occurred the first time I clicked on an outside source the first time. Then after that, it would automatically go to Ancestry or MyHeritage. I know that's a minor issue, but it was very convenient in the old page. One extra click here and there starts to add up when you spend several hours a day doing research.
Please consider changing that function to one click after leaving the page once in a session.
P.S. I love what you've done when clicking on a ID#. It saves it to memory and is ready to use immediately. It saves me a lot of time.

Thanks for your post. I've added your comments to an existing bug report. I believe there is a larger access permissions metadata problem that is keeping this bug around longer than anyone would like.

Here's additional information:
When I request to search on Ancestry the first time, the prompt about leaving the system comes up. If I continue on that same record, it goes directly to Ancestry. However, when I go to another individual, the prompt comes up every time I search.
When I request to search MyHeritage, it will prompt me the first time and randomly thereafter even if I'm on the same individual. Most often the prompt about leaving appears.

It's been a month and the same message still pops up every time:
"You are leaving FamilySearch to visit one of our partner sites. We have a relationship with this partner. If you link your account, you will get free access to many of their services. To learn more, visit our FamilySearch partner access page at https://familysearch.org/partneraccess"

@LarryAndrew1 it's proper for a website to inform users when they are leaving the site. This should be limited to once per link per session.

That is very acceptable, but informing the user every time you leave the site is not. I have not had a session in the past month where I only had the program inform me once. It's been every time I leave the FamilySearch site.
