I'm trying to read the bride's surname on this document. The record is the second one down on the left. The groom's name is Niels Rasmussen. If you could write the whole record for me I'd appreciate it, but especially her surname.

There are a few records for this woman. In some places her name is transcribed as Kondrup, in others it's Knudsen. What do you think?

Definitely Maria Christina Kondrup here... Looks like daughter of Niels Kondrup and Catharina Hans. ?

It looks like this parish has really difficult handwriting in a lot of records because transcription must be in error in places.

I assume we are talking about Maria Christina  • GS2G-7SS

Here is a Christina Maria born to Niels Nielsen and Anna Christina Hansdatter 30 July 1786 from Haderslev Vor Frue

Those names work with the marriage names for Maria Christina in 1820 but Anna Catharina is transcribed in 1803 census as geborn Thomasdatter.

 

Now take a look at a marriage in 1783... Niels Petersen Kondrup marries Anna Catharina Hansdatter

Niels Petersen not Nielsen.... Hmmm....

The last part of this record is listing his children I think because it says Maria Kristina married to Niels Rasmussen with two children Botilla and Cecilia Maria so that is definitely your family if the 1835 census I found above is correct.

Found her... Person 46 Bottom line is there is never a Knudsen I don't think.

We would need to see the original of that 1835 Census
