Italian Marriage Processetti translation help needed
- Marriage of Pietro di Giorgio and Maria Carolina Veletta on 28 July 1844 in Ausonia, Frosinone, Lazio, Italy has several documents attached. The following is my best guess on the important pieces of information on each document, but some is unreadable to me and all should be confirmed.
- Birth of Pietro di Giorgio, ordinance 70, 19 October 1816 -- Domenica Cardillo, daughter of Francesco and Giovaanna di M(?)airno, wife of Dominco di Giorgio ___________ Pietro and Charabina (?) P________ale presented young boy Pietro.
- Birth & Baptism record 22 April 1822 - both parents unknown. Baby is female named Maria Carolina Veletta
- Death 9 April 1839 of Dominico di Giorgio, age 70, husband of Domenica? Cardillo, born in same commune, profession of ?, son of Pietro di Giorgio, deceased and of Char??? Pro???, deceased.
- Death 15 June 1797 of Pietro di Giorgio, paternal grandfather (?) of groom
- We think we understanad the marriage record.
- The documents precede the marriage record

You can find some of the extracts in their original form, btw.
- p 25 - birth of groom (also at https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/ark:/12657/an_ua20366844/wXRvpEY); maternal grandmother looks like Giovanna di Maimo; father is Domenico di Giorgio quondam Pietro (i.e., Pietro is deceased) and quondam Cherubina Provenzale (she is also deceased)
- p 26 - birth of bride (also at https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/ark:/12657/an_ua20366850/wEqY19M); agree with your reading; baby was baptized at San Michele Arcangelo on 22 Apr 1822
- p 27 - death of groom's father (also at https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/ark:/12657/an_ua20366771/LejDzXx); parents are same as mentioned in groom's birth record
- p 28 - death of groom's paternal grandfather; agree with your reading
- p 30 - certification by the priest that the marriage was performed on 26 Aug 1844 in Fratte at S. Maria del Piano parish (the civil record dated 28 Jul is not the actual marriage; it is a civil contract to enter into marriage but in this era the marriage was always performed at the church and reported back afterward). Note that the original promessa (https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/ark:/12657/an_ua20366683/LDga8Xv) says the church is San Michele Arcangelo; I would go with the actual certification by the priest.

Do you have the links to the records on Antenati? That link isn't available to me outside a FHC.

Fortunately, the citation FS link tells you where to find it in Antenati: Frosinone > Fratte > Matrimoni, processetti 1844-1847 (Registro 130.1638) > image 29 of 536

Cousin Vinny,
I'm sorry my thank you for your help on the last translation was so delayed! I had a message written but forgot to post it!
I have another question for you. I have someone in Italy wanting to see the marriage record of someone I have in my family tree. The record I have is from family search and they are not able to view it there from the link I sent. Is there anyway they can view the document on this other site you have mentioned? Antenati?
It is the marriage record for Maria Torto and Nicola di Labio and this is the link I have.
"Italy, Chieti, Civil Registration (State Archive), 1809-1930", database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QLFV-2WTX : 24 October 2017), Nicola di Labio and Maria Torto, 1920.
I really appreciate all you help!!
Thank you,
Emily

Hello again!!
The same person in Italy wants the birth record of their great grandfather , Nicola do Labio. They can’t access Family search records in Italy which are the links I have to offer her. Can you send me the this same link to this record from the Antenati records??
"Italy, Chieti, Civil Registration (State Archive), 1809-1930," database with images, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSDM-1QD8-L?cc=2419833&wc=45JZ-T93%3A1595902303%2C1595902301%2C1601662452 : 3 August 2018), Chieti > Bucchianico > Nati 1891 > image 65 of 73; Archivio di Stato di Chieti (State Archives of Chieti), Italy.
Birth of Nicola di Labio on 23 December 1891 in Bucchianico. His father presented him on 24 of December. His father is Giuseppe Di Labio age 27, a peasant, residing in Bucchianico. His mother is Maria di Renzo wife of Giuseppe di Labio.
I guess you might be able to also explain to me how to find records on that site? I tried and haven’t had much luck. Thank you again for all your help!

From the Antenati home page, If you have a bread crumb trail from FamilySearch like above, the simplest thing to do is to enter the town name in the "Localita" box, and the year in the "Anno" box.
If you enter Bucchianico and 1891 you'll get a list of the available registers for that year. Open the Nati register.
Go to image 65 of 73 (use the hamburger menu on the top left of the viewer to select the index to go directly to a particular image.
