Please help with understanding notation
Greta, born 1793, has the word defs d next her name but I can't find a listing for that on the word or abbreviation list. Please help me know what it means
"Sweden, Örebro Church Records, 1613-1918; index 1635-1860," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9RQL-1G5?cc=1647578&wc=468N-L82%3A125831501%2C125831502%2C126018601 : 22 May 2014), Grythyttans församling > A I a Husförhörslängder > 11 a, 1809-1812 > image 122 of 160; Landsarkivet Uppsala (Uppsala Regional Archives), Sweden.

The note is actually "dess d." The meaning of "dess" in the word Swedish word list in the Family Search Wiki is "his, her or its" (see here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Swedish_Genealogical_Word_List). Often, when a word has two "s's" in it, one of them will be that long "s". If you look at the bottom of the page where Petter Persson's name is written, you will see what I mean.
I would presume that it means "her daughter" but you should probably look for a birth record to confirm that.

I see my mistake. I must have been too much in English mode. Thank you for reminding me.
I have been trying to find her birth record but I haven't found one yet. Yesterday I search through the two different books on Family Search paying attention to the parents names and I didn't find anything.

I am wondering if this is her. 12 January 1794
The reason I think this maybe her is the the marriage record of Anna Persdotter Nygren to Anders Andersson on 15 July 1802
"Sweden, Örebro Church Records, 1613-1918; index 1635-1860," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GRQG-2Q?cc=1647578&wc=46XM-P74%3A125831501%2C126002901%2C126573401 : 22 May 2014), Grythyttans församling > E I Lysnings- och vigselböcker > 1, 1775-1828 > image 63 of 120; Landsarkivet Uppsala (Uppsala Regional Archives), Sweden.
The clerical survey shows they were married in 1802. I haven't found her before her marriage though.

Anders and Anna and their family is in the 1798-1808 household records for Grythyttan here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000535_00118#?c=&m=&s=&cv=117&xywh=547%2C928%2C2763%2C1481.
In this household record, it appears that there are 2 other illegitimate daughters, Stina (b. 1788) and Sara (b. 1801).
Stina's birth record (11 Oct): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000550_00128#?c=&m=&s=&cv=127&xywh=107%2C127%2C3315%2C1778
Sara's birth record: (9 April): https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000551_00056#?c=&m=&s=&cv=55&xywh=236%2C1795%2C2894%2C1552
Both of these records list the father as "föregafs Anders Andersson at Brunshytta".
The father in Margareta's birth record is "föregafs Jonas Andersson at Svartbäcken".
There is only one Jonas in Svartbäcken (1785-1797) here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000534_00139#?c=&m=&s=&cv=138&xywh=290%2C2339%2C3860%2C2069. The interesting thing about this record is that the name just below his is Anders (b. 1761) and it is your Anders Andersson! The reason I believe they are the same Anders, is that this family also shows up in Svartbäcken (1798-1808) here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000535_00157#?c=&m=&s=&cv=156&xywh=211%2C190%2C2789%2C1495. On this record, the note for Anders (left page, last column) says that he gets married and is on page 93 here: https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000535_00118#?c=&m=&s=&cv=117&xywh=494%2C848%2C2972%2C1593 which is the same page at the beginning of this comment. The note about getting married is crossed out-obviously he didn't get married at that time-but he has moved to page 93.
Because of this "coincidence", I think there is a good chance that the priest simply wrote the wrong name for the father, writing in Anders' brother's name and residence instead.

This is very interesting. I do agree with the direction but because of the "dess" from my above question I have reason to pause. Several years after Margareta's birth and after Anna's marriage to Anders it shows Margareta is listed as "her daughter" and not their daughter. I am wondering if in fact the birth record is correct.
On Magrareta's birth record it states that her mother was living in Brunshytta(n) and on Stina's that is where Anders was living. I didn't see them there. I am I missing something?

Entry 8 - What is the note on the marriage record for Anna Persdotter Nygren and Anders Andersson
"Sweden, Örebro Church Records, 1613-1918; index 1635-1860," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33SQ-GRQG-2Q?cc=1647578&wc=46XM-P74%3A125831501%2C126002901%2C126573401 : 22 May 2014), Grythyttans församling > E I Lysnings- och vigselböcker > 1, 1775-1828 > image 63 of 120; Landsarkivet Uppsala (Uppsala Regional Archives), Sweden.

The comment is: Bägge förut ogifte = Both previously unmarried
(Comment: The link is unaccessible for me from home. If I try to find the record directly in the National Archives of Sweden (Riksarkivet) the cited location ( E I/1 image 63) is not correct, the images are counted differently; it is image 66 in Riksarkivet, see https://sok.riksarkivet.se/bildvisning/C0000553_00066. So it would be better to give the original page # (56 in this case) or the date of the entry.)

I will work on adding more information with the link. Thank you
