On 7 Jan 1835, at 5 pm, in front of me, Raffaele Lucarelli, mayor and Civil Status Officer of the commune of Aversa, district of Casterta, region of Terra di Lavoro, appeared

Antonio Sapio, 30 years old, (male) nurse, residing in the same commune, Nuova Street, who presented a report made by the rector of the foundlings’ home, Mr. Della Cortes, hence it appears that last night, at 5 am, was abandoned at the foundling wheel, a (male) child, freshly born, without a note or a sign on the body and without clothes.

We, civil status officers, according to article of civil law, made the aforementioned report as follows, and we registered it in the volume of documents, on page 1, so that it can be deposited in the allotted time at chancellery of the civil court.
