Births 1819/ April 15/ Born in Stångby, hussar (soldier) Jonas Lÿckner and his wife, Pernilla Andersdotter, boy child Christened the 18th same month. Name: Sven, sponsor(?) cottager Lars Hansson's wife Elna Martensdotter, witnesses: farmhands/bachelors Håken Pehrsson and Lars Larsson, all from Stångby.
Child’s mother’s age 31 years.
Comment: The word/abbreviation before "Husmannen Lars Hassons hustru" is not clear to me, but it seems that there is a difference between sponsor/godparent and witness. The abbreviation before "Drängarne" seems to be Test. for Latin Testes = witnesses.

@Ulrich Neitzel Thank you so much for your help with this translation. I have been trying to use the Swedish word list and occupation list. However, when they make words an abbreviation, I get confused as to which word it might be. This will be a good base to use for the other records for this family. Thank you again.

The abbreviation before "Husmannen Lars Hanssons hustru" is "susc(eptorix), from Latin "female godparent". See the Latin Genealogical Word list here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Latin_Genealogical_Word_List#S.

@Norm Baker Thank you so much for this insight. I had not thought about it being Latin. I will add this bookmark. Thank you again.
