"Jeanne Duboc
On 11 January of this year [1709], by me, the undersigned Charles Amador Martin, priest of this parish, was baptized Jeanne Du Bocq, daughter of Jean du Bocq, resident of the parish of St. Augustin, and of Marguerite Arnois, his wife, [Jeanne was] born on the previous day (i.e. 10th January). The godfather was Charles Damours Sieur de Lonniere of this parish, the godmother was Jeanne Mignane, widow of the late Anthoine Gabory of the above-mentioned parish of St. Augustin. And the godfather signed, and the godmother declared that she doesn’t know how to sign.
