Large Artistically Created Family Tree Charts
How many of you know of people that have contracted an artist to create a visually stunning family tree chart that they have on their wall.
Here is one example: http://www.moroderfamily.com/en/family-tree
(there are options to zoom in on the tree to actually read the writing)
Though if you ask me - this particular chart is pretty confusing - making it difficult to see where one set of siblings starts and another one begins.
Charts like this are cool - but I'm not an artist . . .
and I think it gets to a point where the "return on investment" - (the time and money spent on the chart - doesn't add up to the additional value. But when looking at one family - it is really nice to see the other families that they relate to visually.
Puzzilla is a cool application that shows a digital representation of a family tree across various generations. Using the tool you don't have to worry about throwing all your work away on updating a previous non flexible physical chart.
