translation help, a marriage and birth on the same day
Hi all,
I am so excited---I found the 1836 marriage record for my GGG grandparents Nicholas Germain and Marie Marguerite Voisin in Gondrexange, Moselle, France! I would be very grateful if someone could try and translate it for me. They were married on the same day that their first daughter, my GG grandmother, was born. I am wondering if the marriage record explains this unexpected convergence of events.
I could not figure out how to provide a direct link to the image, but the image to the record book in the Moselle archives is below and the marriage record for Nicholas Germain is on page 393 on the left.
Many thanks in advance, John

I am most interested in this paragraph about the bride she appears to be illegitimate and I have not seen this type of paragraph before. I tried to go from the handwriting to the French letters, but some of the words are evading me. The google translation is pasted last.

Translation:
Germain Nicolas to Voisin Marie Marguerite, June 28
In the year 1836, on the twenty-eighth of June, at ten o'clock in the morning. In front of us, François Mene and Mayor and Registrar of the municipality of Gonderange, arrondissement of Sarrebourg, department of Meurthe, at the Town Hall, publicly appeared:
On the one hand, Nicolas Germain, aged twenty, without profession, residing in Gonderange, as shown in the birth certificate registered on January 1, 1816, in the registers of this commune, which we have verified immediately, minor son of Jean Pierre Germain, fifty-six years old, without profession, and of Anne Gétard, fifty years old, his spouse, both residing at the said place, here present and consenting:
On the other hand, Marie Marguerite Voisin, aged twenty-three, without profession, residing in Réchicourt-le-Château as shown in the birth certificate issued by extract in good form by the Mayor of the Commune of Fraquelfing June tenth present month, of the document legalized by the president of the civil court sitting in Sarrebourg on June twenty-fifth also present month, natural adult daughter of the deceased Marie Thérèse Voisin, deceased in Landange as shown in the death certificate declared by extract in good form by the mayor of the commune of Landange on June 7, also present month, of the document legalized by the president of the civil court sitting in Sarrebourg on June twenty-fifth, also present month. Which, as well as the undersigned witnesses, have declared that the ancestors of the future (spouse) were deceased, which contracting parties have acquired us […] for the marriage planned between them, and the (marriage) publications of which are linked in this commune and also evidenced by the deeds registered on the days of Sunday, the twelfth and nineteenth of June this month, in the registers of this municipality which we have specially checked at that very moment, and the certificate of the Mayor of the Commune of Réchicourt-le-Château dated June twenty-six this month.
Note: There is no mention of other events - at the end it says there were no obstacles found, and the two got legally married, and the document was signed by several witnesses (their names and signatures are listed on the document).

Thank you very very much Kamilla---this is awesome! It gives me several important clues.
I think it is so odd that none of them has a profession. The marriage took place in 1836, so maybe lack of profession explains why they emigrated to the US in the early 1840s---to look for work?
