First entry top of the page. Handwriting is clear but apparently my brain is not. May I please have a little help in correctly translating Gerthon's birth and baptism?

I don’t read Swedish, but looking at the format of other entries and their dual dating system, such as 22 and 27 in your case, I believe your person was born on 22 July and baptized on 27 July 1760.

Ronald is correct, the birth was the 22nd and the christening was the 27th of July.

What you are reading as Ly between Måns Clemetsson and Ingierd Svensdotter is actually "h" for "hustru".

If you look at the witnesses in the other entries, there is a male name and a female name on the first line, followed by a male and female name on the second line. The female names are separated from the male names by a bracket. So I think the witnesses for this entry are: Pär in Midingstorp, { wife Cicilia Clemetsdotter in B(?)____skog (Bekaskog?). Måns(?) in Jönsamåla, { Karin (room was left for a surname, but it didn't get entered) in Jönsamåhla (Jönsamåla).

Norman, especially for the "h", of course, Hustra makes sense! For the life of me I could not figure out why I couldn't see this. It's that long curvy "h".
