Translate Birth Certificate
I feel bad that I just joined this group, and my first post is asking for help. I just received a packed of records from a genealogist in Italy about my family and I am still learning how to read/speak Italian. Can someone assist with translating my grandfather's birth certificate?

Sammango ... Angela Esposito, midwife, declared that 3pm on 30 Sep 1898, in the house on Via Serra, from Maria Piraino, farmer, wife of Gennaro Caterina, farmer, both resident in Sammango, was born a male child named Pasquale ... The midwife made this declaration in lieu of the child's father because he is currently in America.
