Surname of the mother of Rosa Ferrante
I would like to get some opinions on the spelling of Rosa Ferrante's mother Christine Casmono? I have 2 records for reference, Rosa's baptism & Marriage.-Thanks for any help- Carl

The surname is Castronovo.
Note the marriage record you linked is listing women by married names, not maiden names. Sicilian church records often do that. It's pretty easy to tell when this is the case though, the tell-tale clue is that the spouses' mothers both have the same surname as their husbands.

@joseph99929 Thanks, Joseph. I do understand what you are referring to regarding the female surnames. I only have 2 more marriage records to find, but many questions remain. My father is getting a pacemaker implanted tomorrow, so my replies may take longer than usual.- Carl
