Flippo Borrelli and Francesca Fiorino were married in 1815 in Paterno Calabro, Italy.

Flippo's Parents were Paulo Borrelli and Marchesa Piluso. Francesca's parents were Gennaro Fiorino and Caterina Porco.

I believe the Processitti begins on Image 46

1) I would like to get a confirmation on Baptism Dates for both Flippo and Francesca and what images #'s they are

2) If there is a Death record for Marchesa Piluso I would like to get the image # and Date of death and if it gives her age. (I already have the father of the grooms (Paolo death information).

Image 44 (baptism of groom):

Paterno Calabro, 26 Jun 1786 ... baptized child born the 25th to Paolo Borrello and Marchesa Pilusa, married, from the town of [illegible] (ex terra ????), residents in in this parish, whom they named Filippo

I'm sorry I can't figure out what town the groom's parents are supposedly from, if it's even true that they are from elsewhere. I would recommend searching for any marriages/processetti or deaths of your ancestor's siblings, in case they might provide a clearer reading.

Paterno Calabro, 22 May 1797 ... baptized child born to Gennaro Fiorino and Caterina Porco, married, from this parish, whom they named Francesca Maria

Image 46 (death of groom's father):

Paterno Calabro, 1 Aug 1801, Paolo Vorrello, husband of Marchesa Piluso, age 60, died

Image 48 (death of bride's mother in 1811 so you can get the original)

Image 49 (death of groom's mother):

Paterno Calabro, 7 Oct 1802, Marchesa Piluso, widow of Paolo Vorrello, age 53, died

First off, sorry I gave the wrong starting image #. I really have a tough time telling where these start and end.

But most importantly thank you for helping me sort it all out and the valuable help with the dates. I do see a number of Terra...? towns within Cosenza. Unfortunately, there wouldn't be any online baptism or marriage dates in these early of times.

The word "terra" is used for small towns. So, the name of the town would be the word right after "terra", and I can't tell what that is. You are correct though that even knowing the town, you couldn't really trace this family any farther in any case.

The town in question looks like Luci, which I suppose is Luzzi, not that far away.

Yes, Luzzi is indeed Luci in Latin, so I agree that is correct, particularly since the surname Piluso is quite common there too!

@DangKwei and @joseph99929 That's great information, I'll have to check and see if any Borrelli's are from there. Most likely it was the town where Paulo and Marchesa were married.

I hope someday they will make the Catholic church records available in this area. -Carl
