Help with Marriage Processetti Francesco Passarelli/Serafina Salerno
There is some real valuable info in here, but I am having problems reading some dates.

Image 370 - I believe this is a baptism extract for Francesco, I would like to find out the date of the baptism
Image 378- I Believe this is the baptism extract for Serafina and I think the baptism date is October 5,1798. Could someone confirm

Those are 1793-09-16 and 1798-10-05, respectively.

FYI, on the baptism of Francesco Saverio, although the baptism was 16 Sep 1793, the entry says he was born the previous day (pridie natum). Same for Serafina's baptism.

OK I am really lost on some of these records. Francesco's parents were Gioacchinno Passarelli & Francesco Di Rango. As far as I could tell they were both alive at the time of their wedding in 1818. (I didn't see any Fu before either name

Image 371 This whole document has me confused. I see a year of 1804 mentioned so I thought it could possibly be a death date but I'm really not sure. Any help with who this involves and any dates would be appreciated.
Image 372 I see a year of 1796 mentioned, but again same as above.

They're both death records. Joachim Passaretto croaked on 1804-06-22 @ ~50 years of age, Francisca di Rango on 1796-08-09 @ ~30 years of age. They were married to each other.

@DangKwei I'm really glad I checked and thank you very much for your help. Did it mention the names of Joachim or Francisca's parents names? Death records start in 1809 in Rende so this will be the only record I will be able to find on this couple.

No, but if they had other children who married I would check those marriage records too. Sometimes, the marriage process records of other grandchildren of your direct line ancestor can reveal more information about your lineage also. Best case scenario is you'll be able to connect to more ancestors in Rende's Catasto Onciario.

@DangKwei I have never heard of the Catasto Onciario.. Are they accessible on-line? Thanks for double checking on the parents names.- Carl

Generally the catasti are only available in person at the Archivio di Stato of the province. But Cosenza has some online: http://www.onciario.beniculturali.it/?page_id=7
BTW, you have a lot more family information in the processetti you are missing.
Page 373 says they cannot find the death record of Lorenzo Passarello but the church is certain that he is dead. He is the paternal grandfather of the groom. Page 374 says they cannot find the death record of Elia Greco, wife of Lorenzo Passarello and paternal grandmother of the groom (also definitely dead). Page 375 is from the church of Santa Madonna del Carmine in Marano the next town over (now Marano Marchesato) and says that Michele Rango, husband of Risolia Principe (still living), died many years ago but they cannot find the death record and his wife agrees that he has been dead many years. And if you read the marriage record, it says the groom's maternal grandmother Risolia Principe (who lives in Marano) has provided a notarized statement that she consents to the marriage since his parents and paternal grandparents are deceased and she cannot attend in person to stand with him. This statement is on Page 376 and the left side of Page 377. So Michele (di) Rango is the groom's maternal grandfather.
Also BTW, the name Joachim (groom's father) in his church death record is a Latinization - if you look at the marriage record itself his name in Italian is Gioacchino. Likewise, Francisca = Francesca in Italian.

@Cousin Vinny WOW! What wonderful information you have provided, which I would have completely missed. Francesco and Serafina's son was named Lorenzo, so that makes perfect sense. I'll begin searching some death records in Marano for Risolia.
I look forward to learning about the Catasti and searching for families in Paterno Calabro and Rende. Thank you for the link.
I can't thank you and Dangkwei enough. I know I am posting a lot of questions, the records for Paterno Calabro and Rende just became available though antenati, so it has opened up 2 large branches for my research. So thank you both for your patience- Carl
