Help with Norway Birth Record Translation

I think I found a birth record in Norway, but need help if I got the right one.

This link below will take you to page 75. On line 9 on the right-side page is Kari.

In my family tree Kari's father is Ole Taraldsen Hjelle and mother Olave Gunnarsdatter.

I think the record says Ole Hjelle and they left out Taraldsen.

Can someone confirm the parents' names on this record to see if I have the correct record? Thank you!

The father's surname name is definitely "Gjeld" and not "Hjelle". The mother's name is Olau Gundersdatter.

My opinion is that Ole Gjeld and Ole Taraldsen Hjelle are not the same person.

You don't say exactly what you are hoping to match... no date??

It appears that the same couple had another daughter named Kari in 1815.  The clerical district is Sunndal in Møre og Romsdal.   https://www.digitalarkivet.no/view/255/pd00000014505246

The Sunndalsboka has been put on microfilm by the Family History Library in Salt Lake City and you can view it online through their catalog. Film 1440062, Items 4-10.

I'm inclined to feel that the couple is the same as the first couple you mentioned. But I still don't know what you are hoping to match on the family tree you have been given - no date shared with us...

The bygdebok 'Sunndalsboka' will possibly explain the spelling of the farm through time. Changes were not uncommon.
