If you're like me and usually do a general search for a name in a particular war (often not finding very much), you may find this link useful. It lists links available on various sites, to individual military records to search for your ancestors in a particular conflict or list of medals given. It may be a slow process to exhaust all options, but you may find a wonderful nugget of information in there 😀.
