Whether the deceased leaves behind a spouse and adult or minor children or other intestate heirs and how many: farmer Carl Naffin in Klein Küdde.

Thank you so much for your help, Robert! It adds so much to the picture to find out that Carl Eduard was deaf and mute.
Carl Eduard is the younger brother of my 3rd great grandfather, Julius Sieg b. 1840. The first child of Julius's wife was born out of wedlock 5 years before the marriage, and I have often wondered if Julius might be the biological father. Julius was 23 when his father died, and as the oldest son, he may have postponed marriage to help provide for his mother and siblings. It seems that men usually married between age 25-30 and Julius was only 20-21 when the first child was born.
Do you have any ideas about Carl Sieg's relationship to the Carl Naffin who is listed on the death record? There aren't any known family connections with the Naffin surname, so is it possible that Carl Naffin might have been an employer or boarder or caregiver for Carl Sieg?
Also, do you know if the biological father was ever named as a godparent or sponsor at the baptism of their illegitimate child?

Do you have any ideas about Carl Sieg's relationship to the Carl Naffin who is listed on the death record?: No, I don't. Your suggestion that Carl Naffin "might have been an employer or boarder or caregiver for Carl Sieg" is not unreasonable but this specific death record does not provide evidence of any of these relationship.
Also, do you know if the biological father was ever named as a godparent or sponsor at the baptism of their illegitimate child?: I don't believe in 20 years of German research I have come across this situation.

Thank you so much Robert. I didn't find any evidence of a family connection to Carl Naffin, so it really helps to know that non-relatives might be named in death records.
