Burials: need to know what bible to use.

I have several burials that reference a bible verse. To translate it properly, what bible should I use?

Hiob 5, 26 is that Job 5:26 or 26:5

Yes, it's the book of Job, chapter 5, verse 26.

Bible references are written in the form: chapter:verse.

You can use any modern Bible.

Here is Job 5:26: You shall come to your grave in ripe old age, like a sheaf gathered up in its season.

You're welcome, Martha. You can use any English language Bible. The words in a given verse may vary slightly from Bible to Bible, but the intent of verse should be the same.

When I want to find a specific Bible verse I google as follows: Job 5:26. You'll get a number of hits and you can read through a few of them and decide which version of the verse you want to use.
