Hi,

Does anyone live in/near Lungro, Italy?

Or does anyone have any contacts there?

I am looking for my GGP marriage record, which happened in Lungro, in 1899. However, I do not know the exact church.

I am looking for someone to help me, either on the ground or via phone, to help locate this final document that I need.

Happy to provide further information.

Since church records are not online, and they did not marry civily, this is my only option.

If you speak Italian, call the Diocese in Lungro (+39 0981237907) before midday during the week. They will answer. Don't bother emailing.

Really, your only choices are the Cathedral (San Nicola di Mira) in town or Santissimo Salvatore, just outside town.
