The Family Bible Index is currently being updated to include even more family bibles

It includes bibles for over 60,000 Surnames and links to over 1/2 million related items.
If you know of family bibles in your family that are not yet included in the index - please let us know so that we can include it in the next update as well as ensure that family bible records are uploaded to FamilySearch Memories - which really is the ultimate goal.
also included in the index are other items of a genealogical value such as SAMPLERS, REGISTER, and FRAKTURS
