What on line data is available for the period from 1830 to 1860 ?
I am aware that there is little to no census data during the time frame of 1830 to 1860
Are there any on line sources of family information in County Kerry
in newspapers and legal/police matters ???

Have a look through those 4 sites - you may find what you need there. Also check the resources page on this group from time to time - it is a work in progress but we will continue to add sites to it.
Let us know how you get on
Many thanks

Per the 1831 census, it appears I have located some relatives in Drumard, Parish of Ballynascreen in the county of LondonDerry. I see from the following link that Christopher McGurk and wife resided in parcel #52 and Charles McGurk and seven family members resided in parcel #53
Any suggestions as to how I might obtain any more information regarding the village of Drumard ?

Drumard is a townland located a mile or two to the west of Moneymore County Lderry in the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains. A townland is the smallest geographical land unit in Ireland and is identified by a name. The same name can sometimes be used for other unrelated areas which can lead to confusion at times as to which piece of land we might be talking about. Drumard itself can be viewed on google maps streetview. It is highly rural with few homes.
So what records are available for the area.
One of the first to turn to would be Griffiths Valuation. It can be tedious to work with but you can find areas where people of the same surname lived/farmed. It is a very useful site with a downside in that only the head of the family is named. There could be twenty other people living in the home but none are mentioned other than the head. You can then use the PRONI revaluation books to follow the piece of land and who it changed hands with and when. The reference number for the piece of land stays the same through the years and it is fairly easy to follow through these books which were renewed every ten years . Each change of ownership is listed and is marked in a different colour ink for each year. The hard thing to decide can be if a person listed is part of your family.
There are the church records. The National Library of Ireland has all catholic parish records online and these start at various times from 1800-1840 or so. They are also on ancestry.com and have been transcribed making the search a bit easier. The difficulty is knowing which parish(es) your ancestors used. For Drumard there should only be two or three. Famous last words. Ballynascreen looks like a possibility.
Findmypast has a number of resources but a subscription is required to view them and the results can be of varying use.
You can use irishgenealogy.ie to search marriages (post 1845) and deaths (post 1864 , and births (post 1864) to see what family units you can recreate from thee records. Given the small area of Drumard this may not be too difficult.
finally there is Ballinascreen genealogy facebook page which will likely be of use, being managed by people who have good local knowledge. https://en-gb.facebook.com/groups/119262472013161/
Hope that helps
