Translation:
Catharina Elisabetha Reum, oldest legitimate daughter of the late Johann Friedrich Reum, former citizen and dayworker at Altenbreitungen, and his still living second wife, Anna Elisabetha, née Weyhrauch von Derther?, was married after threefold proclamation of banns in the church of Frauenbreitungen on 1 July.

Hopefully others will answer as I am still learning. But I see Anna Elisabetha Weihrauch. (I don't know how to put the diacritical markings on the u and the i on my keyboard.) The i in the script looks like a y with an umlaut above. Compare to the i in Juli later in the same record.

The translation is correct.
The dots just indicate how the pronunciation is done. "y" after consonant is pronounced either like a german "i" or similar to an "ü" (e.g. in "Sylke").
"ÿ" , on the other hand, indicates more of a double sound ("ei", "ai").

Thank you all so much. You are teaching me a lot. I am becoming more confident in deciphering the documents from taking online classes through familysearch and your guidance. Thank you, Paula Rail

Do you think Derther a place or part of the last name? I look on the map around Altenbreitungen and see nothing with that name for location.

That was my question also - I have no conclusive answer. I could not find "von Derther" as a name and not Derther as a location either. It could be a misreading also. Maybe you can find the marriage record of Johann Friedrich and Anna Elisabetha?

Could it just be "von dorther" meaning "from that place"?

Thank you B Dahne. I believe you have it right as it makes sense. Thanks Ulrich Neitzel for reposting. Paula Rail
