Help with translation of 1827 marriage record from Mecklenburg-Schwerin
I finished translating most of information that was not indexed in this marriage record from Rostock (entry 34) and need a bit of help translating and have some questions.

Question column 3: the easiest to read example of "Thursday" is in entry 36. I think the letter before the letter combination "st" is y and it doesn't look much like the "g" at the end of the word. The spelling in Thode is "Phinztag" and I read Phinysttag. How do you read the spelling for Thursday? I have no idea for what the meaning of "2nd Thursday is". What could it mean?
Question column 4: the person I am researching is "Christian Jochim Lange" the son of Jochim Friederich Lange from Reinshagen. In the marriage record, the groom's name is "Jochim Christoph Lange". I think the person in the marriage record is likely the same but Christian and Christoph are different names. Is Christoph a variation of Christian or is it a different name?
Question column 6: I have researched Jochim Friederich Lange from Reinshagen and the records for him state that his occupation is Hauswirth (sometimes it is spelled Haußmann). In this marriage record from Rostock, the father's occupation is "Bauer". Is Baurer similar in meaning to Haußmann?
BTW There is a discrepancy about the name of the bride's father "Jochim Hoff" because in her birth and death record the father's name is "Clause Hoff". I researched and found that her father Clause died and the mother later married Jochim Hoff (a brother of Claus) and I'm fairly sure that Jochim was the bride's stepfather in this record.
The scribe made a goof in columns two and three and I switched the information.

Christoph is a different name than Christian. I even have an ancestor whose baptismal record has him named "Christian Georg Friedrich Christoph Blech". It is possible that a record might have Christoph abbreviated as "Christ." which might be misindexed as Christian. And of course a pastor may have simply made a mistake while writing a record.
Have you looked into the possibility of two families with similar fathers and sons names? Depending on their ages the 1819 Meck. census might show each son with his respective father.

It shows her husband as Christian Jochim Lange. Her parents Claus Hoff and Anna Lisabe Hoff. So maybe the pastor simply made an error when recording the marriage if he is Christian in all other records.

The 3rd proclamation was on 2ten Pfingsttag, which is the Monday after Pentecost (Whitmonday).
Hauswirth and Hausmann are both similar to Bauer, particularly in Mecklenburg, Here is a definition from a list of occupations (http://www.emecklenburg.de/Mecklenburg/l15.php?berufe, in German):
/Hauswirth/, /Hausmann/: official term for a farmer who usually farmed leased land (time lease). In the 19th century (from 1822) time leases were slowly transformed into hereditary leases.
The word before Ehestand is Voriger = previous
I agree with @JohnsonGreg that the pastor probably mistook Christoph for Christian. Note also that the order of first names for a person in German churchbooks can be quite variable.
The name of the pastor is (most probably) Raddatz, not Kaddatz. "R" and "K" are quite similar in old German current and not always easy to distinguish. You can see both initials on this page for the pastors Raddatz and Kuhrt.

That is helpful to know that Christoph is a different name. In the records I have for "Christian Jochim Lange" ie. baptism, death and the death record for his wife which you also found, his name is identical except in the 1819 census where it is abbreviated "Christ: Joach: Lange". His birth date in that census is the same as his baptism record so it is a match. I think your suggestion to look into the possibility of two families with similar names was a very good idea and I searched for the names as they are in the marriage record and did not find any records that were a match so I think that there are not two families. Knowing that Bauer is similar to Hauswirth is very helpful too.
I agree with both of you that the pastor probably mistook Christoph for Christian and my conclusion is the marriage record is very likely for Christian Jochim. Especially since his death record shows his father was Hauswirth "Jochim Friederich Lange" in Reinshagen and the marriage record shows his father was Bauer in Reinshagen "Friedrich Lange". And the death record mentioned above for his wife "Margaretha Maria Hoff" shows her husband as "Christian Jochim". I think the chance is low that there would be two men (one in the marriage record and the other in the death record both from Rostock Parish) with similar names and father's with similar names from Reinshagen and both of them with a wife that had the same name.

Also for correcting my spelling of "2ten Pfingsttag" and giving the meaning! The second letter f was the one that through me off and I could not find the word in Thode. When I looked up the correct spelling of the word, I was surprised that it also means "Thursday". Thank you again to both of you!
