Paris church records
Hello,
I am trying to break a brickwall in my French research. I have an ancestor born circa 1750 in Paris, very likely in the parish of Saint-Sulpice. I have his parents' names as well, but nothing else. The recovered records post-Paris fire do not bring anything regarding them so my last hope would really that there is a church book out there I can search. Do those books still exist or were they all collected to the city archives that burned down? Many thanks in advance and a Merry Christmas to those celebrating.

It seems me difficult, try to contact the parish, maybe an answer about where you could find some informations ?
