Does anyone have any information about this family and their ancestry? Was their ancestry from England? William was born 13 May 1679 in Somerset, Maryland, British Colonial America, and died 3 August 1725 in Accomack, Virginia, United States.
William's wife, Sarah Newton, was born 1678 in Accomack, Virginia, British Colonial America, and died 1725 in Maryland, United States. They may have been married about 1700.

@DuemanMarieLorraine1 What records or repositories have you searched for information regarding this couple? Without knowing that, it would be hard to direct you to where to search for more information.
Earliest church records in Maryland are from 1640 and Virginia in 1646. Church records are excellent sources for older settlers.
