Error in 1851 parish boundaries map (www.familysearch.org/mapp) in Derbyshire
The labelling of this map has an error where the ancient parish of Hope has been labelled "King Sterndale" and Hope is the label placed on what I assume is King Sterndale. This is easily verified by comparison with the Derbyshire map on Atlas and Index of Parish Registers by Phillimore also viewable on Ancestry.co.uk.
It would be nice to be able to give feedback to te persons responsible for the website and ultimately responsible for this error, but there doesn't seem to be a place for this. I'm wondering whether there are other such errors in places I am less familiar with (as I navigated down through known parishes from Co Durham to here.)
Hope was and perhaps still is a large and rather significant parish.

Someone else responded as well with the following:
From looking at the map (https://www.familysearch.org/research/places/) for Hope and King Sterndale - it looks like there are two entries for each - hinging on date 1801 (if I got that right) - both 'villages' (points on the map) and not referencing a 'geographical area' (at least not indicated graphically on the map). Perhaps there was a change around that timframe which made records shift? One of them (Hope?) was a civil parish which could have a 'larger geographic area' which may have at one point included some records from the other? I would be curious about the records referencing the locations and especially the timeframe of those records - it may be relevant.
Note: the Improve This Place - edit pencil available for these places...
Suggest a New Place option (top left): does not have geographical area/boundaries as an option - nor 'parish' - it does have 'place of worship' and 'municipality' options.
