Ireland to Bermuda then to United States??
I think - MAYBE - I have traced some family members who were living in Charleston, South Carolina to have come from BERMUDA before being naturalized there. Talking in the 1830's!! Then, after the 1850 census these people ALWAYS gave their place of birth as IRELAND. The family name was Morgan. And never any connections to Wales or Scotland.
Anyway how about BERMUDA????

There's an island in Bermuda called Ireland: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland_Island,_Bermuda
There were also many Irish people who were taken from Ireland to the Caribbean after their defeat in the civil war (1660) or as indentured servants as punishment for crime. But I'm not sure if any went to Bermuda.
