Just found this entry. This house must have been the original house owned by John Cass from the late 1640's, before he bought the Rev. John Wheelwright's house. Now we know John sold the house to Christopher Palmer.
15th Jan 1666 - Isaac Cole of Hampton, carpenter, for £50, conveyed to Hezron Levitt of Hampton, shoemaker, my now dwelling house, barn, leantos and land adjoining, which land I bought of Christopher Palmer, lately in ye possession of JnO Cass of Hampton ; also, my orchard, etc., in Hampton, bounded by ye meeting house green towards ye south, a common highway and Abraham Pirkins, Jan. 15, 1666. Wit: Edward Colcord and Sarah Godfree. Ack. Jan. 17, 1666, before Sam" Dalton, commissioner.
