Looking for Lois Kilby
@Jim Kilby @John JohnRigler1 @Carolyn Webber Record group 36-1 box 2 folder 4
The top of this says no adoption or inmate info available but the table of contents seems to contradict that. Maybe if we could search online to find a volunteer willing to go here and find this box 36-1, it could be possible there may be Records or at least some info in there? I know it’s probably a long shot. What do you think? It’s at theoklahoma state Archives Oklahoma Dept of Libraries in Oklahoma City.

I am still hoping that the Corrections Department indexed the "inmates at the Orphanage" with the Prison records. Jim should hear back from them pretty soon. If not, this is definitely an interesting angle to try.

It means they have them, but they are not available for release as a public record. I've never seen inmate records sealed. Maybe they have a state law.

some of those reports have info about persons, I think it’s worth a look if we can find a volunteer who enjoys doing this kind of thing... leave no stone unturned until we find Lois 😊 it’s become my obsession, I’ve all but stopped searching for my grandfathers bio family lol. I’m determined to find Lois. .... oh and I’m wondering, does anyone here have a bunch of twitter followers or know someone who does who may be willing to post a search for Lois? (With @Jim Kilby and @John JohnRigler1 permission of course) I’ve seen several success stories from twitter posts

Oh me too @Carolyn Webber I’ve also sent an email to state archives asking where the records are. And I found a “Ddoki” that seems to not be foreign on Etsy, so I sent a message to her also. I pray the people at the D. O. C. does a thorough search, stuff like this isn’t always as important to others as it is to some
