Meaning of Sieur de Boissy or Sieur de Boissy le Sec

Just wanted to update this to say I found the answer to my question.
I'm so glad the French Research group is up and running! I had asked a question JUST before it went down. I might ask it later.
I'm researching my ancestors by the name of Chartier, from Poitiers. I found, on the filae.com website, that multiple generations from about 1380, they had these terms for their occupations. I can't find an explanation. Can anyone please tell me what it refers to?

Sieur is defined as sir in old French. An example of sieur is what you would call a gentleman in Louis XIV's court. noun.
Boissy-le-Sec is a commune in the Essonne department in Île-de-France in northern France.
Inhabitants of Boissy-le-Sec are known as Boissyons.
It sounds like instead of occupation, the record is listing a title.
