And a cultivateur is a farmer ? Madelaine is NOT the mother of Pierre or the younger Madelaine so what is her profession and the relationship or description of the profession for her and Pierre and the younger Madelaine ? @Paul-Marc HEUDRE

Well done ! I realize that you are working with the censuses: it is a good idea to reconstitute the family unit! 👍
The family lives in "Grand'rue" {name generally given to the main street of a town or village}.
4 people in the household:
- Hertel André, owner, farmer, 43 years old
- Noullet Madeleine, his wife same profession, 44 years old
- Noullet Pierre, their nephew {neveu} living off his uncle's work, 14 years old
- Noullet Madeleine, their niece {niece} itoo, 13 years old

Thank you, I suspected it might be a niece and nephew of Madelaine but did not want to just guess.

We can say that there has been sunny weather for 2 weeks in France, but it is still quite cold.
Spring is three weeks early and I have heard a lawn mower before ... 😋
