Short Answer: You will need to submit a 'FamilySearch' "Support" case.

Provided, of course, that you (or, a close Family member) have a "Relationship" between, yourself (themselves); and, the "Read-Only" individuals/persons ...

.

In the "Support" Case you should initially enquire as to WHY the individuals/persons have been "Marked" as "Read-Only"; as, that can ONLY be done/actioned by 'FamilySearch'; and, generally, BECAUSE, of a specific Reason or Reasons.

.

Then, in the "Support" Case you should indicate, that as you are related to them, your desire to have ANY associated Record "Hints" attached to them.

.

'FamilySearch' will investigate; and, either,

(1) "Remove" the "Ready-Only" status (ie. restriction); or,

(2) Retain the "Ready-Only" status and, possibly, attach the Records "Hits"

[ and, most probably advise why there is a "Ready-Only" status (ie. restriction) ]

IF, you look at under the "Collaboration" 'Tab', at the "Discussions"; especially, for "Sarah Ann GARR" and the OTHER Spouse/Wives, there are "Still" OLD "Legacy" DISPUTES that need addressing.

I would suggest that those OLD "Legacy" DISPUTES are the REASON for the "Read-Only" status for ALL those concerned/connected in the EXTENDED Family Relationship.

ALL the OLD "Legacy" DISPUTES would need to be RESOLVED; before, the "Ready-Only" status was "Removed".

Here is FamilySearch's official information regarding Read Only individuals. It didn't really answer the question for me and the blog I linked below helped me understand it better. https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/what-are-read-only-records-in-family-tree

Basically it looks like the information on these individuals gets very corrupted by the hundreds of descendants who are not being careful so any changes have to be submitted in writing to a moderator.
