Bartolomei - Corse France
Hello - I have some French ancestry in me - and I was hoping someone might be able to help me gather any documents and to continue going back further in my search, specifically in Corse, France.
Francisco Bartolomei born 1849 in Corsica immigrated to Puerto Rico, where he died in 1935. His wife was from Puerto Rico decent (Rosa Perez y Acevedo). Other Ancestry Family Trees show a father / mother match of Bartolome Bartolomei Y Lucchetti born Aug 6th 1820 in Rogliano Bettolacce, Cap Corse, Corsica, France. I'm not sure if this is accurate, as a US Census document has Francisco's name as Bartolomei y Vega
Ultimately, I would like to understand both paternal and maternal lines pre 1800s

Toutes mes excuses, je ne parle pas français et j'utilise un traducteur.
Je ne sais pas si c'est mon arbre - Bartolome Bartolomei (né en 1820) a eu un fils - Francesco (né en 1848). L'arbre dans le lien que vous avez fourni ne mentionnait pas Francesco en tant que fils.
Si cela aide, ils ont déménagé de la Corse à Porto Rico et possédaient des plantations de café.

The Bartolomeo Bartolomei a found was born in Rogliano, married in Rogliano and have a child in 1855 in Rogliano. I think it's a good place for your research.
