Would anyone be able to help with translating this baptism record?
Hello! Looking for some translation help again. I finally found the baptism record for my husband's 2nd-great-grandfather. I'm so excited it finally turned up. I also found his sister's, which is a bit easier to read. This is from the Holy Spirit Congregation in Bern, Bern, Switzerland.
Heres' what I'm reading (please point out all my massive errors I know are there):
Taufrodel 1858. Nov. 28. ??? Cecilia Anna geb. 20 October 1858.
Parents: Friedrich Albrecht Meyer, Albracht??
bern. Landsass
Mariana Nanette Borel, Ludwig??
von Vivis, Coureta Nauenb Bag??
coped. Obandung? 28 Febr. 1846
Henry Borel von Vivid, Coanet x
Cecilia Ctsfarman von Bern
Here's the link to the originals. Cecilia Ann's is on PDF page #130, Alfred Johann Ulfrich's is on PDF page #174

Am I correct in assuming the parent's date of marriage is 28 Feb. 1846?
Thanks in advance!

*The Register of Swiss Surnames is a really useful tool when deciphering Swiss surnames. For example, on the left, type in tsch and select BE (Bern) from the drop-down list and hit Search; then you'll see a pretty thorough list of matching surnames from Bern, including Tscharner.

Their 28 Feb 1846 marriage record is not currently accessible online, but it's from the Evangelisch-Reformierte Kirche Oberburg in Bern and states:
On Saturday, 28 Feb 1846, upon presentation of:
- the union certificates from Bern, Vivis [Vevey], Neuenburg [Neuchâtel], and Courtet;
- the permit from the Landsassen-Commision [free tenant commission];
- the receipt for the move-in fee [paid when marrying someone from a different parish];
- the military booklet;
- and the bucket certificate [likely proof of having purchased a bucket to use for the brigade, a condition of citizenship]:
the following were married:
- Friederich Albrecht Meyer, Albrecht [Meyer]'s son, free tenant of Bern, and
- Marianne Nanette Borel, Francois Louis [Borel]'s daughter from Vivis [Vevey], Neuenburg [Neuchâtel], and Couvet,
- both in Bern.

Wow, thank you for following up with the marriage record. I had been searching for that for quite awhile.
I hadn't noticed Sophie Meyer's name as a witness on the baptism record, either, that is very useful information.
I hadn't considered using the Register of Swiss surnames when stumbling across an unfamilar surname, great tip! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this for me.

Charlotte Noelle Champenois,
I found a different marriage entry for Friedrich Albrecht Meyer and Marianne Nannette Borel and hoped you would be able to glance over it and see what additional details can be gleaned? I see baptism dates for both bride and groom... a reference to the year 1836 which I can't understand.
I seem to have forgotten to save the link to the PDF, however I did screenshot the entry. I hope this is legible enough!
