Thank you 😊
I was so excited! I been telling myself all day that I need to check probate records, but then I’d get sidetracked 😂 didn’t find Forrest though which I thought was kinda odd

Hey @Jim Kilby im sure you’ve already checked but jic you haven’t, do you have any connections that you know of to anyone named “doki”? Or maybe way down the tree? I found this guy in Tulsa 1920, I know it’s a long shot but ya never know

This is an interesting connection. You have what could be the username that he was searching for and a connection to Oklahoma! Searching the surname, Ancestry suggests that there aren't many people with that surname in the U.S.

x24mom I wonder if my father ever knew her maiden name. Remember the marriage certificate listed Bingman and never married. (Assuming Harrison is true...might be a previous marriage). Apparently only probates after 2007 online. I’ll find out tomorrow. Did you see my email and letter I sent to the judge?

No Doki in my tree.

I haven’t checked my email yet but I will in a minute. And I’m beginning to wonder if any of the records we find about our families hold true info 🤣 this Mae sounds like Syble ... jeesh! I wonder if he knew much about her at all! Heck, Harrison coulda just been her most recent husband at that time ... and the name Dana Mae Harrison ... I woulda never guessed that one ... then there’s the court documents that list her as Mae “E” ... hopefully this probate record will have some answers

So if you pay online they won’t send it to you? It could take them a while to respond and they’re closed on Monday I saw on the site last night. Uggghhhhh!!!! Lol I think I’m as excited as you are to see what’s in that file 😂

I downloaded a pdf and sent a copy to you this morning? Did you get it?

Yes... I’m just now picking up my phone for the first time today. This is the first thing I check. I’ve been sick for 3 days now. I hate this time of year ugh! I did get it ty so much. I was hoping we’d find more answers. I’m wondering why we can’t find the probate record for Forrest? And did you notice she was a Davis at one point? I’m wondering now if that really was her that married CD Davis? I found something That had ruled that out in my mind but I don’t remember what it was. So I’m gonna start looking into that more. Also I notice that Josephine’s adoptive family didn’t stay in Oklahoma long after the adoption, a lot of families moved to Cali during the dust bowl/ Great Depression. I just recently found where my grandfather was one of those folks (finally found the lady “Massengale” who signed his bcert, her grand daughter had a story on ancestry about how her gmother went to Cali in the 40s etc. so I was excited to find that) anyway... back to Lois... I have searched all the Oklahoma probate indices from “A” to “M” counties and have found no mention of Lois.,.. gonna work on the rest this weekend.
