Does anyone have a map and ledger of the protestant parishes for Worms and surrounding area? I usually look these up next to the reference table. I have a great one for the Wiesbaden area...wish I owned the book or could access it online

Would the Meyers Gazetteer https://www.meyersgaz.org help? If you type in a town name, the ecclesiastical parishes by distance are given on one of the tabs at the top.

Unfortunately, I do not have a town name. My ancestors marriage record just states he was from Worms, so I am looking for parish records to find him in births. He was born in 1658, according to his death record. I want to look at microfilms for parishes in Worms to locate his family.

I plugged in Worms & found many parishes referenced here: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/21193024 - might be worth a look. Select "Ecclesiastical" on the top row.

Thank you. Ive been studying maps of the area all day. Challenge, but I am digging in. Your information is a great help.Now to see which of those churches were there in the 1600s.
