Have you looked into FamilySearch Historical Records. Give that a try.

@frederickhaux1 frederickhaux1 I know the Shoshone tribes were divided into regions, partly because they are such a large tribal nation. To my knowledge (although there is still much I do not know) the Shoshone Nation is divided into Eastern Tribes, Northern Tribes, and Western Tribes.
The Western Shoshone comprise several Shoshone tribes that are indigenous to the Great Basin and have lands identified in the Treaty of Ruby Valley 1863. They resided in Idaho, Nevada, California, and Utah. Do you know if the records you are seeking reside in any of these tribal divisions?:
- Kusiutta (Goshute (Gosiute))
- Cedar Valley Goshute
- Deep Creek Goshute
- Rush Valley Goshute
- Skull Valley Goshute (Wipayutta, Weber Ute)
- Tooele Valley Goshute
- Trout Creek Goshute
- Kuyatikka (Kuyudikka, Bitterroot Eaters)
- Mahaguadüka (Mentzelia Seed Eaters)
- Painkwitikka (Penkwitikka, Fish Eaters)
- Pasiatikka (Redtop Grass Eaters, Deep Creek Gosiute)
- Tipatikka (Pinenut Eaters)
