Vollin my paternal side most are from Northern Virginia...
Solice my maternal side mostly from North Carolina, Duplin Co & Wayne Co.

Yes I really mean VOLLIN, I have found my GG Grandmother on a Document for Freedman's Bureau. I have also found the name spelled Volling. That is what I have to go on.

Let me clarify, the Vollins that are from Virginia/Maryland/District of Columbia...

For me the earliest is my great uncle George L Vollin, I don't see much regarding his father George E Vollin born 1872 in Alexandria, VA in FS searches...

I don't know where he was buried and my family don't know either, super sad. He was my Great Grandfather. Even his death certificate... It says he was removed, instead of Burial or Cremation. Cemetery is unknown.
