What do you think of the new Suggested Reason Statements for merges?

I first saw these today. I think these are good starting suggestions, but I don't think they are detailed enough. What do you think?

There were recent posts/discussions in the 'FamilySearch' ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum, on this very subject.

I cannot find them right now; but, when I do I will post the 'links' to those here.

The positive thing about them is that they give details of the two IDs involved in the merge. If there are further merges in future, this helps build up a history of activity relating to the surviving ID when examining the change log ("Show all changes").

 

I add any further comments, as appropriate. Not perfect, but at least it encourages users to input something in the box.
