Help Reading a Marriage Record
2Oct 1619 a William Tisdale married a Marjorie Tisdale in Cowley, Middlesex. The record shows a bond, for these two but I can't make out the exact detail.
I'm trying to see if this is the same William Tisdale that married Mary Ruth in 1725 in St Albans. This William was a glover. Can you help me with this record, as it might help me determine my Williams approx birth.
It is located on the right hand page second entry.

Hello, @Suetis
It would be well nigh impossible for a "William Tisdale" b. 1619 to be the same William Tisdale who marries 106 years later, and approximately 25 miles away... You obviously meant 1625.
The "details" are as follows:
"This daie appeared personally William Tisdale of Cowley in the countie of Midd[lesex] yeoman and desireth licence for the solemizacon of marriage intendended between Edmund Nicholas of the parish of Uxbridge in the countie of Midd[lesex] ______ and batchelor, aged about 30 yeares and Margerie Tisdale maiden aged about 23 yeares the daughter of Wm Tisdale who affirmeth that he knoweth of no lawful lett or imped__ment by reason of anie pr__contract consanguinitie aff___tie [sic] or otherwise to [___]der this intended marriage and of the truth of the[ir?] promises the[y] made faith and desired license [for] the said p[ar]ties to be married in the parish church of St Giles in the Fielde [Middlesex County]
[signed] Will[ia]m Tisdale [father]"
Hope this helps clarify things for you.

OOphs, you're right. My William Tisdale did mary Mary Ruth in 1625 (not 1725) in St. Albans at Mary's home parish. Somehow he did meet Mary, possibly at the St Albans Market Place selling his Gloves as her father was also a Glover. But this 1619 marriage in St Giles means this William Tisdall might be the father of my William Tisdall who married Mary Ruth. I found a 1641-42 Protestation Document that shows William Tisdall as the Oveseer for Cowley. Now I'm not sure which William this might be. Since Margerie is getting married in St Giles, Middlesex, but lists her father William as a resident of Cowley I guess my next move is to see if I can find Margerie's baptism in St Giles, and that might be where my William was also baptised. Why would her father need to ask for the license? Thanks Phil!

Phil Dunn transcribed this document And William Tisdall is Marjorie’s father, not her spouse. I’m searching for Tisdales in Hillingdon Where this William was living in 1619. My William married in 1625 to Mary Ruth and their children were baptized in St Lawrence, Cowley, Hillingdon starting in 1626. I’m wondering if Marjories father actually came from St Giles in the Field, Because that’s where she married. I can’t find any records that I can access from home in that time frame for st Giles in the Field. Marjorie marrying William Tisdale was posted incorrectly. She married a Edmund Nicholas, but her father was living at that time in Cowley.
