I saw mentioned in an article "African-American Marriage Records Before the Emancipation - cohabitation_records. Has anyone come across these records during your research. It seems that they are a part of the Freedmen Bureau records.
I did check the NARA website and I don't think Familysearch has those records.

I did find some of these records: United States, Freedmen's Bureau Marriages, 1861-1872 that are on Familysearch.

Did you find the records that you were looking for? Or just some of the records?
Can you be specific about a location or time period of records that you are searching for?
FamilySearch has a Wiki that lists other cohabitation records:

Let us know if you find what you are searching for, or if you need further assistance. I love to hear about successful searches! I also love to learn about other resources from members of the FamilySearch Community. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
