How can I research in religious documents?
Hi everyone! First of all, thanks for the help!
Mi bisnonno was from Corigliano Calabro, (I know that since 2018 that comune consolidated with Corigliano Rossano), but I'm having problems to find the Marriage of him, because I don't have the exact date, plus that comune does not have digitalized documents after 1910.
So, I was thinking and maybe it's a good idea, to take a look at some religious archives.. but I don't know where to find them... Do you have any idea?
His name was Angelo Ferdinando Crocco, he was born in 1894, in Corigliano, and he got married with Carmela Castagnaro.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any church records available online for Corigliano Calabro. You will need to write to the local priest(s) to ask for more information. Instructions for doing so are included on this FamilySearch Wiki page for Cosenza. Note that Wikipedia says there were 5 churches in the town in 1879.

To concur with what Anne said here's some additional info which may help: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Italy_Letter_Writing_Guide to help you write to the parishes; and here's a link to the parish addresses: http://italia.indettaglio.it/eng/calabria/coriglianocalabro.html#chiese. It states there are fourteen parishes so you may have to contact all of them to determine which ones were around in 1894 or perhaps their websites may help. It's most effective to email them or call them so I suggest you try to locate a website or FaceBook page for the parishes and search for their contact info.
Good luck!
